I'm hoping to find some info on the duraspark swap for pre 1975 Broncos.
My '77 and '76 both had duraspark and I liked it. My '74 had points and
it ran well but I was always ready to make the conversion.
The other thing I was looking for was aftermarket part combos to replace
the brain on the duraspark or other components of the system.
FYI, for those of you with duraspark, the 1985 HO Mustang motor is a
plug-in swap which means get a 1985 motor if you are doing a HO swap and
retaining the carb. Otherwise, get a later year motor and obtain an '85
distributor (you need the special distributor drive gear on this
distributor). The minimal mod needed is to press on the special drive
gear onto your existing distributor.
